Job Recruitment for Westside Residents

The UCDC, together with local residents, the Atlanta University Center member institutions and community agencies, is at the forefront in preparing our neighbors for economic wellness and expansion.  

The UCDC provides on-going recruitment for residents interested in working in the Historic Westside Village (HWV) and other neighborhood businesses.  We work in partnership with the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency to prepare and connect you with potential employers in the AUC area. This job preparation includes:

·        Business Etiquette
·        Interviewing Skills
·        Talking With Your Boss

Our past opportunities have included jobs in clerical, sales and construction for the new HWV, Publix Supermarket and Blockbuster Video stores.
